From Argentina to London with visa sponsorship

When Florencia decided to move to London, she started her job search before she'd even landed.

She was sending CVs into the void - no replies, no interviews, nothing. Just stress, frustration, and the creeping fear that maybe this wasn't going to work.

"I was super stressed. I started sending CVs, getting no replies. I was frustrated, stressed, scared."

Then she found TechTalk on Instagram - and everything changed.

A Strategic Shift

Florencia didn't just need a better CV. She needed a system.

"I looked at it and I was like - okay, I need structure. That's when I paid for the course. I started doing it and I loved it. It gave me the structure and peace of mind of — okay, if I follow these steps, I should get a job."

She rebuilt her CV using TechTalk's template and started tailoring every single application to the role she was going for. Then she set herself a daily target - three CVs a day, every day, quality over quantity.

"I was super structured. Super focused. Three CVs every day, tailored accordingly."

The Referral That Changed Everything

For a while, even with the new approach, the callbacks weren't coming. Florencia had applied multiple times to her target company with no response.

So she tried something different. She asked someone on the inside for a referral.

A few weeks later, she got an email: we'd like to interview you.

"Recruiters get so many CVs - they won't have time to see them all. But they will pay more attention to referrals. That was key."

She got the interview. She got the offer. Two and a half months after starting her search, Florencia had landed a role at a big tech company - with sponsorship.

Landing the Role

For Florencia, the two things that turned the key were simple = but most people overlook them.

A tailored CV. And the courage to ask for a referral.

"I think those were the main things. Tailoring my CV accordingly, and asking for referrals. That's what made the difference."

She also credits the structure TechTalk gave her at a moment when everything felt overwhelming - a step-by-step process she could follow even when the market felt impossible.

"You definitely gave me peace of mind at a very frustrating time. And honestly, even if you're not a structured person — you need it when you come to this market. Everyone wants to be in London. It's competitive."

The Lesson

Florencia's story isn't about luck. It's about showing up with a system, staying consistent, and being willing to do the things most candidates won't - like picking up the phone, reaching out to strangers, and asking for help getting in the door.

Two and a half months. One referral. A big tech job with sponsorship in one of the most competitive cities in the world.
