From no replies to a .NET offer

When Rakshambigai graduated in the UK, she was filled with uncertainty. Like many international graduates, her biggest fear wasn’t just landing a job – it was landing one with sponsorship.

“Coming to the UK and securing a job was my dream – and I was so scared I wouldn’t get a sponsorship role as a graduate. I even considered going back to my home country.”

She spent three months applying non-stop but saw little progress. When she finally landed an interview, it didn’t go well – not because she wasn’t qualified, but because she wasn’t confident in how to present herself.

“My CV wasn’t getting selected. I didn’t know how to stand out.”

A Life-Changing Investment

That’s when Rakshambigai found TechTalk’s Career Accelerator. She was hesitant at first – unsure whether it was worth the investment. But she took the leap, and it transformed everything.

“It was a life-changer. I updated my LinkedIn, followed the application strategies, and suddenly, recruiters started calling.”

In a matter of weeks, she went from struggling to get noticed to receiving multiple interview invites – and ultimately, a job offer as a junior .NET developer with a path to sponsorship.

“One recruiter even told me she reached out because my LinkedIn was impressive. That was all after the programme.”

Building Confidence and Strategy

Beyond the technical tips, the programme helped Rakshambigai rebuild her confidence and completely reframe how she approached interviews.

“I used to be so afraid of interviews. But the programme taught me how to prepare – what to research, what to say, and how to show my growth. I felt confident walking in.”

Her story is a powerful example of what’s possible with the right support, tools, and mindset. From nearly giving up to landing her dream role in just a few months, Rakshambigai is proof that the journey is worth it.

“TechTalk played a major part in my success. You should never stop doing this – you’re giving graduates the confidence they’ve lost and helping them get hired.”
