One job offer at a Big 4 with visa sponsorship

For a full year, Lakshmi followed the approach so many jobseekers are taught: apply to as many jobs as possible and hope one sticks. She applied to 2,000–3,000 roles – and received just as many rejection emails in return.

“It felt endless. I was applying randomly, burning out, and still not getting anywhere.”

But something shifted. She stopped casting a wide net and started applying with intention. She chose a few companies that genuinely interested her, prepared thoughtfully, and trusted the process.

“I had a little hope something would work out. So I sat down, curated my CV and cover letter, and prepared with focus.”

One Interview, One Offer – With Sponsorship

Lakshmi applied for just four roles. One of them was with a Big Four company. She got an interview – and three weeks later, received an offer with visa sponsorship.

“I’m so amazed. I never imagined this could happen.”

She credits the turnaround to the mindset and strategy she learned from TechTalk – especially how to position herself, approach recruiters, and stay resilient through rejection.

“You helped me understand how recruiters think – what they look for, how to build a relationship with them, and even how to ask for prep materials. That made such a difference.”

During the interview process, Lakshmi used the STAR-L method to structure every answer and asked the hiring manager insightful questions – earning praise and exceeding expectations.

Motivation, Strategy, and Real Support

More than anything, what stuck with Lakshmi was the belief that she could do it – and the support to keep going when things felt impossible.

“You gave me the motivation to believe it’s just a matter of time. To practise, to prepare, and to not give up.”

Her story is a testament to what can happen when job search advice is human, practical, and strategic – and when people are supported to believe in themselves again.

“You’re changing lives. Not everybody does that. I’m so happy my life has changed – and I love the way you work. Please don’t ever stop doing what you do.”
